Make Sure Cross Exchange is Right For You
Our platform is designed for Christian hosts who are open to sharing their faith with travelers who come to stay with them. All hosts are required to agree to our Statement of Faith and Terms & Conditions. This creates a trusted community where guests and hosts can connect through shared values and meaningful interactions.

Build Your Profile
Travelers will be interested to learn what staying with you would be like, so filling out your profile will answer these questions! This includes what type of volunteer work you’re looking for, what living conditions to expect, what the local area is like, and what your household expectations are. Providing clear details upfront save time and reduce questions later!
Verify Your Profile
One of the important safety features we offer is meeting with each host on a video call to help confirm the legitimacy of each profile to help ensure travelers and hosts have a positive experience. You’ll schedule a time for a brief video call with us when it’s convenient for you. We look forward to meeting you and building a relationship!

Nail Down the Details
As you begin communication with travelers (i.e., potential guests in your own home), establish accurate expectations by discussing dates of stay, volunteer tasks, hours of service, living arrangements, and household expectations. Clear upfront communication builds trust and ensures a positive experience for both hosts and guests.
Match With Volunteers
Once your profile has been verified, travelers will be able to start contacting you to find out if you're available and willing to host them. Accept or decline at your discretion- timely replies are highly appreciated!

BUILD CONNECTIONS & ENJOY
Unless agreed upon otherwise, the traveler is responsible for arranging and paying for their travel to your city. The fun begins when the traveler arrives: we encourage you to take the time to learn about your guest(s) and welcome them to your city and your way of life! Not a good fit? No sweat – the traveler is free to leave at any time, and you can have them leave as well.
